Lesson notes

How bar-replay simulators work

The simulator replays historical data inside MetaTrader. You choose a symbol and a start date, then move forward candle by candle (or at a chosen speed) and place trades as if the market were live. Future candles stay hidden.

A good backtesting routine

  1. Write your rules first.
  2. Pick random start dates so you do not remember what happened.
  3. Record every trade with the reason and result in R.
  4. Review after 100 trades.

On MT5 with prop firm practice?

We later built QFT Replay Simulator for MetaTrader 5, with a prop firm challenge mode, lot size from your $ risk and a full report. See the comparison with Soft4FX, FX Replay and Forex Tester.

Khulasa (Roman Urdu / Hindi)

  • Simulator purana data MetaTrader mein replay karta hai.
  • Rules likhein, random dates chunein.
  • Har trade record karein, 100 trades ke baad review.
