Lesson notes
Price action in simple words
Every candle shows a fight between buyers and sellers. Price action is the skill of reading that fight from the chart: where price turned (support and resistance), which way the swings point (trend) and how strong the candles are (momentum or rejection).
Technical vs fundamental analysis
Fundamental analysis looks at the economy, interest rates and news. Technical analysis looks at the price chart. Most short-term traders use technical analysis for entries and keep an eye on big news so it does not surprise them.
Why price action before indicators
- Indicators are calculated from past price, so they react after price has already moved.
- Price action shows you the levels where traders actually act.
- Once you read price action, indicators become helpers for confirmation, not the whole strategy.
Khulasa (Roman Urdu / Hindi)
- Price action yaani chart khud parhna: candles, swings aur levels.
- Technical analysis chart dekhti hai, fundamental economy aur news.
- Indicators price ke baad chalte hain; pehle price action seekhein.
- Poora course isi buniyad par khara hai.
Questions
What is price action trading?
Trading decisions made from the price chart itself: candles, swing highs and lows, support and resistance and trend, with few or no indicators.
Is price action better than indicators?
They are not enemies. Price action shows where traders act; indicators can confirm it. Most professionals start from price action.
Does price action work in forex, gold and crypto?
Yes. Any market with a chart driven by buyers and sellers can be read with price action.
What is the difference between technical and fundamental analysis?
Technical analysis studies the price chart; fundamental analysis studies the economy, interest rates and news that move the currency.
How long does it take to learn price action?
The basics take a few weeks of study; reading charts with confidence takes months of practice. Backtesting speeds this up.
Which timeframe is best for price action?
Learn on H1 and H4, where candles are clear. Then use lower timeframes only for entries.
