How Dr. Qazi teaches
The idea behind SMC
SMC assumes that large players need a lot of orders to fill their positions, and that those orders sit at obvious places: above highs, below lows and at round numbers. Price often moves to those places first, then makes its real move. SMC is a vocabulary for that behaviour, built on ordinary market structure.
1. Market structure: BOS and CHoCH
- An uptrend makes higher highs and higher lows; a downtrend makes lower highs and lower lows.
- Break of structure (BOS): price breaks the last high in an uptrend (or the last low in a downtrend), so the trend continues.
- Change of character (CHoCH): the first break against the trend, for example price breaking the last lower high in a downtrend. It is an early warning that the trend may be turning.
Mark structure on the higher timeframe first; a CHoCH on M5 inside an H4 uptrend means much less than one on H4.
2. Liquidity
Stop losses and breakout orders rest above swing highs and below swing lows, especially at equal highs and lows. A sweep is a quick move through that level and back. Read the full guide: liquidity in forex.
3. Entry zones: order blocks and FVGs
After a sweep and a CHoCH, traders look back at the move that broke structure. The last opposite candle before it is the order block; any three-candle gap inside it is a fair value gap. These are the zones where an entry on the return is planned.
4. Premium and discount
Draw the range from the swing low to the swing high. The upper half is premium, the lower half is discount. In an uptrend, buy entries in discount offer a better risk:reward than buying in premium; in a downtrend, the reverse.
Putting it together
- Higher-timeframe direction.
- Liquidity taken on the side against that direction.
- CHoCH on the entry timeframe.
- Entry at the order block or FVG, stop beyond the sweep.
- Target the next liquidity in the trend direction.
SMC is not a guarantee. Write the conditions down and backtest them before you use real money.
Khulasa (Roman Urdu / Hindi)
- SMC: price pehle liquidity (highs/lows ke stops) tak jati hai, phir asal move.
- BOS: trend ki simat mein break. CHoCH: trend ke khilaf pehla break.
- Sweep + CHoCH ke baad order block ya FVG par entry.
- Uptrend mein discount (range ke neeche aadhe) mein buy behtar.

What are Smart Money Concepts in trading?
A price action approach that reads market structure, liquidity, order blocks and fair value gaps to find where large orders are likely to move price.
