Why the times change twice a year
Because the Silver Bullet is defined in New York time, only the US clock change matters. Pakistan and India do not change their clocks. The US moves to winter time on the first Sunday of November and to summer time on the second Sunday of March:
- 1 November 2026 – 13 March 2027: winter times (London Silver Bullet 1–2 PM PKT).
- From 14 March 2027: summer times (London Silver Bullet 12 noon–1 PM PKT).

What the Silver Bullet setup is
The Silver Bullet is a time-based model from ICT (Inner Circle Trader). The idea is that inside these hours price often makes one clean move toward the nearest obvious liquidity, and leaves a fair value gap (FVG) that can be used for entry. A typical checklist:
- Before the window, mark the higher-timeframe direction and the nearest liquidity: the previous day's high and low, the Asian or London range, equal highs or lows.
- Inside the hour, wait for price to sweep a nearby high or low, then make a strong displacement move the other way with a market structure shift.
- Mark the FVG that displacement leaves on M1–M5.
- Enter when price returns into the FVG. Stop loss beyond the sweep high or low.
- Target the next liquidity in the direction of the move; skip the trade if that gives less than 1:2.
- If no setup forms inside the hour, there is no trade. Do not force one after the window ends.
Which markets and which window?
- London Silver Bullet (1–2 PM PKT in winter): EURUSD, GBPUSD and Gold, at a time that suits most traders in Pakistan.
- New York AM (8–9 PM PKT in winter): the most popular window, inside the London–New York overlap, for Gold, US indices and USD pairs. Check the economic calendar: US data at 6:30 PM PKT can shape it.
- New York PM (12–1 AM PKT in winter): quieter and late at night here; many traders in Pakistan skip it.
Risk rules
Short windows on M1–M5 mean tight stops and fast moves. Risk a fixed 0.5–1% per trade, size each trade with the lot size calculator, take at most one or two trades per window, and stop for the day after two losses. Test the model on at least 100 past windows in a replay simulator before trading it live.
